We offer a 100% paid for spay/neuter vouchers to people and animals desperately in need with no way to afford the cost. Some of these animals have had several accidental litters, suffering the health costs that come along with carrying babies to term with insufficient nutrition and care. Unfortunately, the moms are not the only ones suffering. Often, these animals are born without homes and the owners drop them off at shelters where they don't stand a chance. A donation to us will not only save one animal, it will save hundreds.*
The Humane Society of Alamance County rescues animals from unfit living situations, as well as helps people who cannot keep their animals for health or financial reasons. Often these people are devastated to be losing their best friend, and they turn to us when they are most in need of compassion. Some of these animals require medical care, whether it be as simple as bringing them up to date on vaccinations or as costly as a dental surgery with post-operative pain medication. We try to never turn an animal away due to health issues, and with your help we can come closer to that goal. Your donation will help us take in an unwanted or surrendered animals, provide them with proper veterinary care, house them in a comfortable and warm place and feed them what they need to be healthy and strong so they can go on to find their forever homes.
Your donation will grant an otherwise homeless animal the gift of life.

Any donation can be put towards the adoption fee of one of our adoptable animals. This can make it easier for the new adoptive family to afford an extra pet bed or a cat scratching post for each room!
