PETS OF THE MONTH: BELLA & OLIVER!

IMPORTANT: Bella and Oliver are a BONDED PAIR and MUST be adopted together.

Bella and her brother, Oliver, are senior Min Pins who were recently surrendered into our program and have had to adjust to their new lives. Bella is the more adventurous of the two and loves to thoroughly check out any new surroundings while Oliver is content to sit back and watch her do all of the work. She is sweet and affectionate, especially if Oliver is receiving attention and she feels left out of the petting session. This pair still has plenty of energy and will let you know if anyone approaches the front door. They are crate trained but not housebroken so they will definitely need an adopter who is home with them throughout the day to take them out and tend to their needs. Their adopter will also need experience with their breed and all of their quirks. They have done relatively well with other dogs though only after proper slow introductions.

The Humane Society of Alamance County does not operate a shelter or facility. Our foster animals are cared for in private foster homes by our amazing foster families!

You may scroll to the bottom of the page to complete our Adoption Interest Form.  References will be contacted, and a home visit completed (in person, via photos submitted or zoom call) before a "Meet 'n' Greet" will be scheduled between the applicant and the animal of interest. We ask that you allow our adoption coordinators 7 - 10 business days to process your adoption application. Serious inquiries only! (Please read each pet's description and make sure their needs match your family's expectations in a new pet before submitting a form on their behalf.)

PLEASE NOTE!
We work hard to rescue and take care of our foster pets and community animals in need on a daily basis. If you submit an application to adopt one of our dogs or cats but adopt an animal from another source while we are processing your application, PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE AND INFORM US OF THAT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so that we may move on to the next applicant and find our pets their true forever homes.

HSAC Adoption Policies:
