The DogSplash held in May by the Burlington Recreation & Parks Department was a great success! Many thanks to them for giving the HSAC a portion of the proceeds and also to the volunteers who handed out information about what the HSAC does. Over 100 dogs showed up over the six-hour span of the event! Big dogs, small dogs, almost all wet dogs (a few timid doggies didn't want to go in past their paws.) A great event, especially for the first time it has been done.

There is another DogSplash scheduled for Tuesday, September 2, 2003, 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Please call Burlington Aquatics Center at 222.5043 to register. No aggressive dogs, no female dogs in heat and up to date rabies tags or certificates required. The admission is $5 per dog. Hope to see even more dogs there.
