On Saturday, April 2nd, the HSAC had a booth at City Park as part of a fun and informational event for children and families of Alamance County. The event was sponsored by the Alamance Partnership for Children, the YMCA and the Burlington Recreation and Parks Department. There was quite a crowd attending to enjoy music, dancing, free rides, face and hair painting as well as other entertainment.

The HSAC gave children brochures and sheets to color educating them on proper pet care. Former foster dog, Foxy, was on hand for children to pet. They were very impressed by Foxy's history of being abandoned, rescued by the HSAC and adopted into a loving home.
